A newspaper from Mexico posted an article with Simple Plan. Check it below in english:

They speak french and play in english. They know what they want. They are Simple Plan and will be performing today at Auditorio Telmex, the first time of the band in Guadalajara.

The musical proposal of the band is put together blues, hip hop, a little of punk and the energy, that's what the members Jeff Stinco, Sebastien Lefebvre, Pierre Bouvier, David Desrosiers and Chuck Comeau are ready to show in the concert in Mexico.

(...)

Simple Plan sold millions of copies worldwide, has their own  foundation and they had influenced the new bands in the past years. However, the guys don't have time to think about success. "We spend all the time playing shows," says Pierre, that add "probably we'll have a week off and three months on the road, so we can do something besides play music."

Different of the punk bands from 70's and 80's, Simple Plan had all the support from their parents to keep doing music. "Sometimes I wish my parents had motivated me to become a ninja (laughs). Now I'd be on the movies," jokes Pierre.

Respecting his sonorous identity, Seb explain that be a punk is more than follow the others. "Somehow, we're following it (punk), because we do what we want without upset with this. We write songs that we heard, we talk what we wanna talk and do what we wanna do. It's great have success doing what you wanna do."

However, the band explain that have the control their carree has a price. "We're never at home," explain Seb. "But that's the life we choose to live, so we're doing it for something good."
